Calgary Church – Join a movement….

….want to be a part of something God-sized….

Wondering whether there’s a church community in Calgary that fits your headspace? Ever sit in church one day and ask why the language used seems so foreign compared to everywhere else we exist? I’m not suggesting there is no value in what other churches seek, but there’s got to be a different way to be connected to God’s plan for humanity than what I’m now bored/confused with.

I think there is, and I want to be a part of a movement that answers some of these questions. This movement requires like-minded people who don’t necessary look the same, but they are in a certain ‘head-space’ that exhibits certain important traits that seek to overcome the status-quo of what we’ve settled for in ‘church’. Sound like you?

• Those who go to church right now and have asked the question, “is this it?!” A question not pertaining to church programs or worship experience, but about the challenges to the depth of your faith. Also those who have made the observation, “I don’t get it….” As in you are starting to disconnect with the current (that isn’t so current) language used in big box churches today.
• Are you a leader? You probably are but don’t know it. Does the prospect of creating and initiating a movement more appealing than reacting and responding to somebody else?
• Are you connected in a group, network, community, tribe, and seek a church that fits their language?
• And most importantly a deep conviction to connect and become connected into God’s mission to redeem humanity.

We didn’t use terms like ‘post-church’, ‘post-modern’, or ‘unchurched’, since nobody knows what they mean, but if you do, then that’s the kind of person we’d be looking for too.
