The inaugural missional church conversation kicks off for what is the first of many monthly discussions pertaining to missional church in Alberta.
It's for folks who are familiar with the missional discussion on ecclesiology (the way we do church). Here are details on how you can join us for a pint and talk about church in Calgary:
This is a come and go time so stop by for a pint and talk theology among other things :P. We will meet Sunday, February 15th, 2009, at FATS Bar and Grill on Fifth Ave. tenth St in Kensington, from 7PM-9PM. Please email us to get more details
Our topics this night will include a dialogue on the way we do church (missional ecclesiology) and whether it succeeds in journeying with our culture towards God's reign found in Christ.
We will also share thoughts on steps forward: how we can and are engaging in God's mission to redeem humanity.
This is an open even to anybody who may be interested in this discussion so don't hesitate to invite a friend.
