Calgary Church – Join a movement….

Spring is upon us and the snow is melting, albeit slowly. This quick note is to outline some changes and updates to the missio dei Missional church in Alberta network we've created on Facebook.

You'll note 'network' was added to the Facebook group name. We have defined the purpose of the Facebook group a bit more by citing our intentions to be a hub for various missional communities in Alberta.

Calgary Church believes in the unity of communities, yet at the same time recognize the need for invisible Christian lines to be erased on a number of fronts. As such, one of the things Calgary Church offers is a central hub for other missional churches around the province.

Both people looking and leaders seeking to connect with each other can be done through this web site. We are going to invite leaders around Alberta to post up information on their communities. You'll see their updates in the coming days ahead, and their subsequent updates in the future. Criteria will be broad, but obviously groups are approved by us, and that approval is based on whether a group is engaging in God's mission to redeem humanity.

Hopefully we'll be inundated with requests to feature communities.

The purpose is to both inform you of what's going on around the province, and also give you a chance to connect if you're disconnected.
