Welcome to March! A lot of things are happening this month with Calgary Church so here is a brief rundown. Any questions email us!

The theme for this month’s Converge worship service will center around the season of Lent. We are in the Easter season so the first week in April will be our Easter themed Converge. There are rumours that a new Calgary Church gathering will launch in the South for Easter, stay tuned for details.

The upcoming Wednesdays will go down like this:

March 3rd, 2010: Converge Service: Join us as we embark on a Lenten journey: from the desert to Jerusalem, the last supper and the cross. The evening will begin just after 6PM with a potluck dinner and then the service around 6:45. We will be at the House Coffee Sanctuary in the basement.

March 9th, 2010: Justice Film evening. The Marda Loop Justice Film Festival showcases films outside of the November film festival time. Every other month there is a showing; this month two short films will start at 7PM at Riverpark Church. They films are: Disposable & Calcutta Hilton. Calgary Church plans to attend and gather together after for a dialogue on the event.

March 10th, 2010: Small group evening. We will gather together for a potluck meal at the House Coffee Sanctuary on Kensington Road and 10th st. After our meal we’ll gather in the coffee shop upstairs and muse about life and faith.

March 17th, 2010: Community Chili Evening at Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association building. There is no agenda for this evening.

March 24th, 2010: Usually a small group evening but this date is tentative. (We’ll update as more details emerge.)

March 30th, 2010: See above.
