Gatherings

Calgary Church is not a a 'come and see' church but rather a 'go and become' community.

If you're curious to be engaged in a vibrant church that seeks to join God's mission of redemption in our neighborhoods then we might be the fit.

Primarily based in Kensington, the best way to connect is to meet one of our leaders face to face first, or drop in on some of our community gatherings like Converge.

Here are some other ways to connect.

Converge Worship

Every other week we gather for a time of worship, spiritual formation, all to celebrate what God is doing in our midst. We do this every other week so we can model as a community the importance of living out mission in our lives (it's not about going to church every week, but where you go throughout your week). You won't get a music concert or a 30 minute sermon, but we do seek to minister to each other and express our worship in a variety of different ways.

Other Groups

We believe relationships are crucial to our church. Get to know some new friends in our smaller groups that meet together, sometimes in a set place, sometimes in homes, sometimes for yoga, sometimes in restaurants or coffee shops. This is a time to get together and journey towards the reign of God together. The best way to get connected? Get to know somebody in one..... If you don't, then you can start by emailing us.

Our groups are really mini communities that meet across the city. Weekly or more often.

Community Chili Suppers

You can find out more about our Chili Community nights, currently in the community of Kensington, by visiting this page. The chili night is just that--chili. A chance to meet the community, have a meal, chat with someone you know, someone you don't, then head on home.

Chili nights happen every third Wednesday at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community center beginning at 6PM (will restart in March 2012).
